Hi, I’m Kelly — the founder of Chasing Hazelnuts, and I’m so excited to share this journey with you..

I started Chasing Hazelnuts after 12 years working in finance roles including Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Accounts Assistant, Project Cost Analyst, and Finance Analyst. I’m AAT Level 3 qualified and have seen first-hand how stressful accounts can be for busy trades firms.

I wanted to create a service that feels human.
A service where you can pick up the phone, get a straight answer, and know your finances are in safe hands.

I named the business Chasing Hazelnuts as a nod to the idea of going after what’s valuable — not just money, but time, balance, and peace of mind. (And yes, I’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth too!)

Outside of work, you’ll find me dancing, travelling, and spending time with my husband, two kids, and stepdaughter. That balance keeps me grounded — and it’s the same balance I help my clients find in their businesses.
